Words Are Spiritual Weapons

00:29 Suchita
Words Are Spiritual Weapons

REVELATION 12:11 NKJ
11 "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

Words are more important than most people realize. All authority is exercised through words.

When it comes to overcoming the enemy of our souls, and all his tactics, we must speak words of faith in line with the Bible.

What Jesus did for you is enough. He defeated the devil for you. However, you must enforce that defeat by speaking and standing in agreement with God. Only then will you see Jesus' victory manifest in your life.

EPHESIANS 6:17 NKJ

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

A sword is a weapon. God's Word is not a weapon when laying on your coffee table. It only becomes a spiritual weapon when you speak it in faith.

You must take it. Your spiritual weapon is speaking the Word of God. You must take the Word and speak it -- just like Jesus did.

SAY THIS: I overcome by what Jesus did, and my words that enforce that victory over the devil.

Walk In Love

00:27 Suchita
Walk In Love

EPHESIANS 4:31-32 NCV

31 Do not be bitter or angry or mad. Never shout angrily or say things to hurt others. Never do anything evil.
32 Be kind and loving to each other, and forgive each other just as God forgave you in Christ.

As a human who has been hurt, you may find it impossible to forgive and walk in love. But as a child of God, with God helping you, you can do it.

God freely forgave you. Now, with His love placed in your heart, you are to act like Him and forgive others.

EPHESIANS 5:1-2 NIV

1 Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children
2 and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Putting others first is the essence of walking in love. Selfishness is the opposite of walking in divine love.

COLOSSIANS 3:12-13 NIV

12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
13 Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

If you are having trouble with this, just ask the Lord to work in you and change you. Tell Him you need help.

SAY THIS: I can walk in love because the Lord is my Helper.

The Joy Of The Lord Is Your Strength

00:26 Suchita
The Joy Of The Lord Is Your Strength

NEHEMIAH 8:10 NLT

10 . . . Don't be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!"

I do not claim it is the only meaning, but one thing the Lord showed me from this verse is that our level of joy is like a thermometer revealing our spiritual strength. If our joy is low -- our spiritual strength is low. That is because the Lord is our strength, and in His presence there is fullness of joy.

PSALM 16:11 NKJ

11 You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

So, if our joy is low, it means we have not been spending time in God's presence, receiving His strength and help. It means we have got our focus off God and onto something else.

(Although God is always with us, as we worship Him and praise Him and thank Him, God manifests His presence.)

Being gloomy is not a sign of being spiritual. God did not intend for His people to be downcast. Let the world be sad, we have something to rejoice about! Jesus! Heaven!

If you look at your circumstances you may not feel like rejoicing. But if you look at Jesus as He truly is -- you will not be able to keep from rejoicing in Him. Jesus is wonderful!

PHILIPPIANS 4:4 NLT

4 Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again -- rejoice!

SAY THIS: I will rejoice in the Lord!

The Lord Is Your Helper

00:25 Suchita
The Lord Is Your Helper

HEBREWS 13:6 NRSV
6 So we can say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will
not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?"

Can you imagine how things could improve if God Himself was
helping you?

It can happen.

But, to receive God's help you must cooperate with Him.

God is ready, willing, and able to help you. He desires to help
you. But the choice is yours.

When you act contrary to God's principles, you stop God from
helping you as much as He desires.

To cooperate with God, you must trust Him and walk in faith.
You must agree with God and speak in agreement with His Word.
And you must walk in love. To do that, constant meditation on
God's Word will be required.

You will also need to humble yourself and ask the Lord to help
you in everything you do. God does not force His help on you
without you requesting His help.

Does this sound too hard? It's not. Just ask the Lord to help
you and He will!

ISAIAH 41:10 NIV
10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I
am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold
you with my righteous right hand.

ROMANS 8:31 NIV
31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for
us, who can be against us?

SAY THIS: God is for me. God is my Helper! I will not worry or
be afraid.

Whatever You Allow

00:23 Suchita
Whatever You Allow

MATTHEW 18:18
18 I promise you that God in heaven will allow whatever you
allow on earth, but he will not allow anything you don't allow.

Many think whatever happens is God's will. But the Bible reveals God's will and lets us know we have a
part to play in cooperating with God to see His will come to pass in our lives.

God gave us a free will. We must choose God's will, for God does not force it on us.

Sickness is not of God. There is no sickness in Heaven. Acts
10:38 reveals that sickness is an oppression of the devil. So
we should resist sickness.

Poverty is not of God. There is no lack in Heaven.

Selfishness, strife, unforgiveness, and hatred are not of God.
None of those are in Heaven. These are all things we should not allow in our lives.

The devil cannot do anything in your life unless you allow it.
Scripture says that if you will resist the devil he will flee from you.

JAMES 4:7
7 ...submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

1 PETER 5:8-9
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks
about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith,....

Too many people resist only for a short time then quit resisting. If something is not God's will then we
should maintain the attitude that it is not acceptable. If something bad is in your life it is only because you
allow it to remain. You can decide to refuse and resist.

Whatever you will put up with is what you will have. But if you
decide something is unacceptable then it can change.

"But I tried to resist and it would not leave."

Resisting does not mean trying for awhile. Resisting evil should never stop. Resist to death. Never quit.
Never give up. Never give in. Fight the good fight of faith until victory is manifest.

EPHESIANS 4:27
27 nor give place to the devil.

I refuse to allow any of the works of the devil in my life.

Heaven Is Our Home

00:22 Suchita
Heaven Is Our Home

PHILIPPIANS 3:20 LB
20 But our homeland is in heaven, where our Savior, the Lord
Jesus Christ, is; and we are looking forward to his return from
there.

Heaven is a real place. In fact, Heaven is ultimate reality.
There are real people there, involved in real activities. But
most importantly, our wonderful Lord Jesus Christ and our
Father God are there.

Sometimes people talk of someone who has departed this life as
"having gone to their reward."

Heaven is not a reward.

There will be rewards given out by God, but going to Heaven is
not a reward. Heaven is a return to normal.

That's right. Heaven is the way life was supposed to be. Heaven
is normal. What we have been experiencing on this sin-infested
planet is sub-normal.

But part of the Good News is that Jesus will not leave this
place, or us, sub-normal forever. One day, maybe soon, Jesus
will return from Heaven and change things on Earth back to what
God intended when He created this place.

Everything on Earth, as originally created, was a reflection of
the home planet, Heaven. All the beauty and everything good
that we enjoy on Earth is but a dim reflection of what Heaven
offers.

What makes Heaven our home? Home is where your family is. Home
is where you are comfortable. Home is where you have a place to
live. Home is where you belong. For the believer in Jesus
Christ, Heaven fits all those descriptions.

SAY THIS: Heaven is my home.

Love Your Enemies

00:21 Suchita
Love Your Enemies

MATTHEW 5:44 NKJ
44 "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse
you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who
spitefully use you and persecute you,

"Love your enemies? What kind of advice is that? How can you
have enemies, if you act in love toward them?"

Good point.

Why would anyone want to have enemies? Do you?

God's instructions, if acted upon, will make friends out of
enemies. Think how much better the world would be then.

God can, and does, love His enemies. He proved it. No matter
what they did to Jesus, He never quit walking in love.

But it may be impossible for a normal human to love their
enemies -- without God's help. Fortunately, God's help is
available!

No matter how hard it seems, you can love those who have hurt
you. If it was not possible, God would not command us to do it.
Of course, to be successful at it, we need to call on the Lord
and receive His help.

"But why should I love my enemies?" You should know it is the
best thing for you to do, just because God said it. It benefits
you as well as the one who wronged you.

You have two basic choices when someone does you wrong. Do
wrong back to them. Or, return good for evil.

If you fight back, then they will have a valid excuse to
continue mistreating you. Is that what you want? If not, then
the intelligent choice is to stop the vicious cycle by
returning good for evil. Love your enemies until they become
your friends.

SAY THIS: I can, and will, love everyone with God's help.

Father Of Faith

00:19 Suchita
Father Of Faith

"And he [Abram] believed in (trusted in, relied on, remained steadfast to) the Lord, and He counted it to him as righteousness (right standing with
God)." - Genesis 15:6 AMP.

Godly heroes portrayed in the Bible were people of faith their foundation was faith in God. Abraham was a hero of faith; in fact, in Romans 4:16 he is
called the father of all who believe.
.
Abraham trusted in, relied on, and remained steadfast to the Lord. Because of Abraham's faith, God counted him as righteous. Abraham's faith was at
the core of the way he lived his life. Because of his faith, he obeyed God he taught and directed his family to walk in God's ways he looked forward,
not back and he lived life with an eternal perspective. This week we will look in more depth at these characteristics and what we can learn from them.
.
We were saved by faith when we trusted Jesus. And God has called us to a life of faith. Indeed, in Hebrews 11:6 we learn that without faith it is
impossible to please God. The lives of Abraham and other heroes of faith were built on a foundation of faith in God. We are in a better position to
believe than those heroes their salvation was based on what Christ would do. Our salvation is based on what he has already done.
.
Consider this...
.
Is faith the foundation of your life? Are you trusting in, relying on and
remaining steadfast to the Lord in every area of your life? Is there an area of your life that is being ruled by worry and fear instead of faith? Is
there some part of your life in which you are doing your own thing instead of trusting God for his plan?
.
Let us ask God to help us follow the example of Abraham and other heroes of faith. Let faith be at the core of our lives, inundating our thoughts, our
attitudes and our actions.
.
Prayer : Our Merciful Loving Father, thank you that I have been saved by faith. Help me live a life based on my faith in you. Teach me to trust, not
worry. Teach me to obey you in faith, not choose my own way. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I Pray,
Amen."
.
God Bless you.

God Likes to Work in Ways We Don't Expect

00:17 Suchita
God Likes to Work in Ways We Don't Expect

"As surely as the Lord your God lives," [the widow] replied, "I don't have any
bread--only a handful of flour in a jar and a little oil in a jug. I am
gathering a few sticks to take home and make a meal for myself and my son, that we may eat it--and die." Elijah said to her, "Don't be afraid. Go home
and do as you have said. But first make a small cake of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and
your son. For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: 'The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day
the Lord gives rain on the land.'" - 1 Kings 17:12-14 NIV

At God's command, the great prophet, Elijah, pronounced a drought over all
Israel, because of the wickedness of King Ahab and his wife, Jezebel. Instead of sending His beloved servant to one of the wealthy citizens of the
land for provision, God sends him to a starving widow in Zarephath. When Elijah asks her for some bread and water, she reveals that she only has
enough flour and oil to make one last meal for herself and her son. If you had been this widow, what do you think your reaction would have been? I
think I might have said something like, "What! Are you crazy? My kid and I are starving to death, and you have the nerve to ask ME to help YOU?" Oh
well. There goes my shot at a miracle. Thankfully, this widow obeyed Elijah and gave him all the provisions she had left in the world. Her act of
faith birthed a miracle. God provided for her, her son, and the prophet throughout the entire drought.
.
I can't tell you why God expected this widow to provide for Elijah. It's just
one more example of how God likes to work in ways we don't expect. Perhaps there have been times when God has asked you to meet someone's needs, even
though you felt you had little or nothing to offer. Maybe there have been times when God asked you to "just be there" for someone who was going
through a rough time, and you couldn't help but think, "But God, I have troubles of my own. I can't help them now." Remember this widow. Remember how
God blessed her abundantly because, even in her darkest hour, she reached out in faith to someone in need.
.
Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, help me to focus less on my own needs, and to look around me to see the needs of others. Fill my heart with a love
like Yours, and take from me the pride and the fear that hinder me from reaching out to them. Use me to touch and change people's lives for their good
and Your glory. Thank You for blessing me and making me a blessing! Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I
Pray, Amen."

God Bless you.

Biblical Promises to His People

00:16 Suchita
Biblical Promises to His People

"Now, O Lord God, confirm forever the word You have given as to Your servant and his house; and do as You have said." - 2 Samuel 7:25 AMP.

You may have noticed by now that I often speak of the power behind God's
biblical promises to His people. That's because since I have begun studying, believing, and praying the promises of God, my life—and my prayer
life—have never been the same. One of the passages in the Bible that has helped me to discover the power of God's promises is in the seventh chapter
of Second Samuel. It involves King David, who is on the throne in Israel at the time, and who is seeking God about his future, and the future of his
family.
.
We find out from David that God has revealed His will and promise for David and his household, as he tells the Lord, "You, O Lord of hosts, God of
Israel, have revealed this to Your servant: I will build you a house." (2 Samuel 7:27 AMP) This "house" is actually "a dynasty of kings" (NLT), which
will eventually bring forth the King of Kings Himself. Here, we discover that when we seek the Lord in a situation, He will often reveal to us a word
of promise that will help us to know and understand His will for our situation. We have the ability and the responsibility to receive God's direction,
because of His Holy Spirit who dwells in us. The apostle Paul prayed, "We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all
the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives." (Colossians 1:9 NIV) Always remember that God's will for you is knowable and doable, as you walk
in close fellowship with Him and rely on His Spirit for wisdom and guidance.
.
Next, David says, "So Your servant has found courage to pray this prayer to
You." (2 Samuel 7:27 AMP) Here, the Scripture reveals that we can base our prayers for our situation on the word of promise that God gives us, and we
can do it with confidence and boldness, because it came from the Lord Himself and carries His power and authority. The Bible says: "You who [are His
servants and by your prayers] put the Lord in remembrance [of His promises], keep not silence, and give Him no rest..." (Isaiah 62:6-7 AMP) God
invites us, and expects us, to base our prayers on His Word, His truth, and His promises—which are His will. And He promises that when we pray
according to His will, we will always receive what we pray for. (1 John 5:14-15) Think of it. Almighty God tells us to remind Him of His own promises,
and to keep reminding Him!
.
We find David telling the Lord, "Now, O Lord God, confirm forever the word You have given as to Your servant and his house; and do as You have said."
(2 Samuel 7:25 AMP) In other words, we should ask and expect the Lord to confirm His Word and promise to us, by doing what He said He would do.
Scripture says of Christ's disciples: "They went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs
following." (Mark 16:20 KJV) When we pray and stand in faith upon the promises that God speaks to our hearts, He will eventually give us
confirmation—often through sudden and explosive acts on our behalf. And just as the Lord fulfilled His promises to David, He will fulfill His to us.
.
In Second Samuel 7:26 (NIV), David reveals his—and the Lord's—desire and motivation in all this: "So that Your name will be great forever."
Whatever
situation you find yourself in right now, let me assure you that the Lord has a
good outcome and a promise of blessing in store for you. Lay hold of these
powerful scriptural principles today—for your good and His glory!
.
Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, in every situation I face, lead me to seek Your will and Your word to me. Grant me revelation from heaven that
will fill me with hope and strength. Speak Your promises to my heart, and help me to pray them in faith. Thank You that as I follow Your lead, You
will confirm Your Word with signs following! Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I Pray, Amen."
.
God Bless you.

Listen to it

00:14 Suchita
Listen to it

The words of the LORD are pure words, Like silver tried in a furnace of earth, Purified seven times. - (Psalm 12:6) (NKJV).

A scientist has discovered recently that any man remembers seven items from a list shown to him. Another scientist commented, "That is why seven is a
number we come across so often in life. For example seven wonders seven seas, seven deadly sins, seven colors in the rainbow etc."
.
True, that is right. Still, in the Bible, seven is even more special. If you
reflect on it, it turns out to be a wonderful number. This number is used more
than any other number in the Bible. Seven and its multiples are used more than any other number. Seven implies completeness. The word "seven" occurs
287 times, that is, 7x41 times. The word "seventh" occurs 98 (that is 7x14) times. The phrase "seven times" comes in seven times. "Seven fold" occurs
56 (7x8) times.
.
The LORD God rested on the seventh day and sanctified it. Seven blessings are given to Abraham in Genesis 12:2-3. The high priest was required to
sprinkle the blood seven times on the altar. When Joshua set up siege of Jericho, on the seventh day seven priests carried the ark of covenant and
came around the city walls seven times and got victory sounding seven trumpets. The book of Revelation talks about seven churches. Also you can find
seven lamps, seven stars, seven seals, seven trumpets, seven eyes, seven spirits, seven urns of wrath, and seven thunderous sounds and so on.
.
126 of the Psalms have titles. And seven names are mentioned in them:
.
1. David (56 psalms)
2. Sons of Korah (11)
3. Asaph (12)
4. Heman (1) (Psalm 88)
5. Ethan (1) (Psalm 89)
6. Moses (1) (Psalm 90)
7. Solomon (1) (Psalm 72)
.
Seven verses from the Psalms are referred to in the New Testament. The verses of Psalm 69 quoted seven times. John's gospel narrates seven miracles of
Jesus.
.
Seven parables are written in Matthew chapter 13. And so many other verses use the number seven. Next time when you come across the number seven in
the Bible, pause and mediate on what the Lord wants to tell you. His words contain so much meaning. How blessed are we to have such a God as our Lord.
Amen, Hallelujah.
.
My lips will praise Thee
And my hands join in worship
(because) I found blessedness
My help, the God of Israel.
.
Prayer: Heavenly Father of infinite wisdom and mighty in deeds, Your wisdom is immeasurable. Open our eyes to see the treasures hidden in Your Word.
Fill us with Your vast wisdom. Thank you for talking to us through the number seven today. Grant us grace to to learn more from Your Word. Thank you
for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I Pray, Amen."
.
God Bless you.

You Can Do What You Cannot Do

00:10 Suchita
You Can Do What You Cannot Do

Let's look at two people from the Bible who did the impossible.
But they did it anyway, because of God's involvement.

HEBREWS 11:11 NKJ
11 By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive
seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because
she judged Him faithful who had promised.

Sarah had a child when she was 91 years old. (Genesis 17:17-21)
Physically, it was impossible. She had long since lost the
ability to bear children.

But she did what she could not do.

Sarah achieved this impossibility because of God's promise, and
because she believed God would keep His promise.

JUDGES 15:14-15 NKJ
14 When he came to Lehi, the Philistines came shouting against
him. Then the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him; and
the ropes that were on his arms became like flax that is burned
with fire, and his bonds broke loose from his hands.
15 He found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, reached out his hand
and took it, and killed a thousand men with it.

Samson killed 1000 of the Lord's enemies with a bone.

He did what he could not do.

No human being is capable of single-handedly killing 1000
people at one time, with no weapon but a bone. No matter how
strong or skilled any man may be, he could easily be overcome
by such superior numbers.

But with God's anointing and help -- the situation is
different.

With God helping you: you have God's ability to do God's will.
You can do whatever God's Word says you should do.

Your sufficiency is of God.

Whatever God wants you to do -- He will help you. God does not
play favorites. Just as He helped Samson and Sarah to do what
they could not do -- He will help you to do His will -- even if
"it is impossible."

Without the anointing and help of the Lord, you cannot. But
with God -- all things are possible.

SAY THIS: I can do whatever God wants me to do. Nothing is
impossible.

Jesus Is The Friend Of Sinners

00:08 Suchita
Jesus Is The Friend Of Sinners

MATTHEW 11:19 NKJ
19 "The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say,
`Look, a gluttonous man and a winebibber, a friend of tax
collectors and sinners!'. . . .

Jesus had trouble with the religious leaders of His day,
because He was a friend of sinners. Jesus is the same today. He
never changes. Jesus is your friend.

LUKE 19:7 NKJ
7 But when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, "He has gone
to be a guest with a man who is a sinner."

Religious people couldn't understand how Jesus could love a
sinner -- they certainly did not. But Jesus did, and He still
does.

Notice what Jesus said to the woman caught in the act of
adultery.

JOHN 8:11 NKJ
11 She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do
I condemn you; go and sin no more."

Jesus does not condemn you for your sin. He understands. He
came to earth and lived in a human body just as you do.

Jesus knows the pressure you face. He knows the pain. And Jesus
cares. He cares enough to help you be free of the sin; because
He knows that sin will destroy you.

Sin may give a temporary pleasure, but in the end sin always
destroys. Jesus loves you so much, and does not want you to be
destroyed.

So Jesus is against sin because He loves you.

SAY THIS: Jesus is my friend.

Flee

00:07 Suchita
Flee

But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.- (1 Timothy 6:11) (NKJV).

In a Chemistry laboratory a student was about to put a large lump of potassium in a bucketful of water. Seeing this, her teacher asked her, "What are
you going to do?" She replied, "I am going to put this potassium in the water." The teacher told her to keep stirring the water for five minutes
before doing it. She asked why. He replied, "In that 5 minutes I will run away." He said that because he knew that if she did what she said, the whole
place will be stained.
.
The Bible warns us to flee fornication (1 Corinthians 6:18) and idolatry (1
Corinthians 10:14). The best thing to do is to flee when tempted. Sometimes
during such circumstances we tell ourselves, I can manage this. We may win a few times; but fail many times.
.
Consider Joseph. Even though Potiphar's wife was compelling him to sin with her, he did not agree to be with her and lie with her. One day he went
inside the house to do some work when no one else was around. She pulled his dress and asked him to lie with her. He left his dress in her hand and
ran away. (Genesis 39:10-12) We read that he fled from the place of sin.
.
Maybe there is no Potiphar's wife in your life. But other desires may draw you to sin. If it is drinking alcohol, don't go to places where such
friends gather. If you think you will sin if you go to that place, don't go there. Avoid being with anyone who may induce to sin. Fleeing from that
place will save you from sinning.
.
But we often think that we can protect ourselves; that we are strong enough to do that. One or two days you may do that; but if you continue in that
you will fall. This is one of the reasons for making those sins our habits. So be careful to avoid those places. If we avoid going to such places, we
can refrain from doing the sin. If we fall in a sin once, we will get many more opportunities to do that sin, because the tempter Satan is waiting to
push us towards sinning. But we, the followers of sinless Jesus Christ should not be unable to escape the mire of sin. Fleeing or avoiding such places
is the best way to refrain from sinning. For example, if you are tempted to see TV serial, it is better not to switch on the Television set. Same
principle applies to places of card games.
.
As the verse admonishes, "But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.", let us
run the race called to run with patience. May the Lord grant us grace to protect ourselves from sin. Amen.
.
Even if Satan came as a flood
The Spirit will hold the banner
Fear not my son
Let us hold the banner
And march ahead
.
Prayer: Our loving Father, we love you more than anyone else. Help us flee the sins and deeds that separate us from You and help us to walk closer to
You. Give us grace to give up trivial sins and continue to love You. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I
Pray, Amen."
.
God Bless you.

Godly Sorrow?

00:05 Suchita
Godly Sorrow?

"For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death." - 2 Corinthians 7:10 (KJV).

Have you ever done something bad and then felt so sad about it and you ended up repenting of the sin? I have and it's called, "Godly sorrow". Godly
sorrow works repentance and through repentance we gain salvation. Godly sorrow is not a bad thing, we should be happy that we get this sorrow. Why?
Not everyone gets godly sorrow and the ones that don't, do not repent of their sins. A lot of people just have hardened hearts and they don't care if
they're doing right or wrong. It is Jesus Christ, in you that makes you care enough to get godly sorrow. Godly sorrow is a sign of your own salvation
and standing with God! If you're not saved, then you don't care enough to get godly sorrow. It's like when you accidentally hurt someone you love, you
feel so horrible about it and you ask for their forgiveness. If you didn't love that person and you were filled with carelessness then you just
wouldn't care if you hurt them.
.
The sorrow of the world is a bad thing. Some people live horrible, sinful lives
and they just aren't happy. This sorrow is caused because these people do not have Christ and also because they suffer the consequences of their
actions: If you do drugs you get addicted, if you kill someone you go to prison, if you do anything bad you end up suffering for it. It's not that you
feel bad about it, but you pay the price for doing it. If you commit adultery you will end up getting AIDS most likely. There is no bad thing that you
can do that you won't pay for in this life and in the next! The sorrow of the world doesn't work repentance, it works death.
.
What's the difference of worldly sorrow and godly sorrow? With godly sorrow you have God and you will be sad for only a moment and you will repent
from your sins. Worldly sorrow is hopeless and it's a bad place to be. Godly sorrow is because you are sorry that you've made a mistake and you want
forgiveness from God. The difference is people who want to be right with God and people who don't care. What kind of sorrow is in you?
.
Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, thank you for this message and for all
things. Please forgive us of all our sins and we forgive all those who've
wronged us. Take away from us the sorrow of the world and when we should have godly sorrow, may we have it. Bring us closer to you and make us holy
children. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I Pray, Amen."
.
God Bless you.

The God Of Peace

2 THESSALONIANS 3:16 NKJ
16 Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in
every way. The Lord be with you all.

Several times the Bible refers to God as the God of peace. But
as English readers we miss the full meaning.

The Old Testament was written in Hebrew and the New Testament
of the Bible was written in Greek. All English Bibles are
translations.

The Greek word translated peace is eirene (i-ray'-nay), which
corresponds with the Hebrew word translated peace, shalom
(shaw-lome').

If you study extensively, both in the Hebrew and the Greek, you
will find that these words translated peace have a rich meaning
-- far more than just an absence of conflict.

The primary thought is one of wholeness -- lacking nothing.
When nothing is missing you have peace. There is no anxiety
because all is well.

This is the idea meant to be communicated by the term "God of
peace" or the "peace of God." It includes health and prosperity
as well as the normal English meaning of absence of conflict.

ROMANS 15:33 NKJ

Faithful in Small Things

23:58 Suchita
Faithful in Small Things

A faithful man will abound with blessings, - (Proverbs 28:20) (NKJV).

Someone asked the son of well-known evangelist Billy Graham, "How did your father become such worldwide renowned evangelist?" Billy Graham's son said,
"My father behaves in the house the same way he behaved outside. The faithfulness in small things raised him to this level."
.
Generally people behave with integrity in great things so that they won't put to shame among people. Some act uprightly for fear of laws and rules.
But these people will act wrongly when their supervisors are not around. They think that God wants us to be honest in big things. He won't expect
honesty in small matters.
.
Let us see what do we consider small things and be dishonest in our day-to-day life. We are not keen to return books and things we borrow. Some others
don't feel guilty to steal small things in public or in the office. These people steal papers from their offices or don't try to return the money they
found on the road to the owner and keep it for themselves. If they cannot find the owner of the money they should give it to God Who is the owner of
the whole universe or to needy poor people. Isn't it the right thing to do? Sometimes when a shop keeper gives more change than due we just put it in
our pockets. Isn't this a dishonest act? Still some others don't pay the due income tax to the government. Some waste time in the work place. Do you
ask, if this is dishonesty? Yes, it is!
.
Beloved, these may be small things but they destroy our credibility. God's
servant Charles Binny once said, "Small incidents rather than big ones show the real state of one's heart." Non-Christians accuse Christians when they
see them being dishonest in small things. Therefore, be honest in small things. God will make you owner of great things.
.
God who promised to change
Owner of Great things
If we are faithful in small things
Change me to be honest!
.
Prayer: Our loving and guiding Heavenly Father, grant us grace to be faithful in small things as You have said that one who is true in small things
will get lots of blessings. Help us to be truthful in all things. Let people who see the
truthfulness in us glorify you. Help us to live such a life. Thank you forhearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I Pray,
Amen."
.
God Bless you.

Love For You

23:57 Suchita
LOVE FOR YOU

The Love Of Christ Is Beyond Comprehension

EPHESIANS 3:18-19
18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God's
people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his
love really is.
19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great
you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled
with the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

How can words describe, or humans fully understand, something
that is as deep as God Himself? God's love is greater than
words have the ability to communicate. It is impossible to put
into language.

How can you explain the unexplainable? How can you know
something that is beyond the ability of human knowledge to
comprehend? You would have to be God Himself to fully
understand why He loves you the way He does. Don't expect to
ever understand it. But you can accept it. You can believe it.
You can experience it and enjoy it.

God's love for you was demonstrated in redemption. God took
your place and suffered what you deserved, so you could be
forgiven and go free. God proved that He loved you more than He
loves Himself. He did not spare Himself to help you.

God's love for you is also evident in creation. Not just in
abundant provision, but also in all the beauty He created for
your enjoyment. What a wonderful display of the loving and
giving nature of God. Not only did He make everything we need,
but He made it in abundance -- and with great variety.

Every good thing in life was created by God for you because of
His great love for you.

I accept the love of Christ: God loves me.

which is greater thame to embrace the reality of your love,

Keep Your Eyes On The Prize

23:55 Suchita
Keep Your Eyes On The Prize

PHILIPPIANS 3:14 KJV
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of
God in Christ Jesus.

What will really matter at the end of your life on earth?

Will what you are giving attention to now still be important
then?

Or, will you be filled with regret for what you did -- or
didn't do?

Distractions abound. TV, phone calls, web sites, books, movies.

It might be a good idea to stop and evaluate how you are
investing your time.

1 CORINTHIANS 9:24 NIV
24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only
one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.

Run to win. Win what?

The true prize is to know God intimately and be His friend.

2 CORINTHIANS 4:18 NIV
18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is
unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is
eternal.

One day, possibly soon, you will stand before God. Why not
order your life now based on that "final reckoning?"

A wise person would not invest everything in something
temporary. A wise person invests in something that will last.

Invest your life wisely!

SAY THIS: Lord, help me to keep my eyes on what is important
and lasting.

The Greatness of God

23:54 Suchita
The Greatness of God

And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you. -
Genesis 45:5.

In his book, Knowing God, J. I. Packer says that people who know God personally have great thoughts of Him, great energy and boldness for Him, and
great contentment in Him. That certainly describes Joseph.
.
Joseph's brothers stood before him speechless and terrified as they learned the one they had sold into slavery was now the second most powerful man in
the most powerful nation of the world. No doubt, the thought "We are toast!" didn't just cross their minds but lodged itself in the part of the brain
that says, "Be really scared now!" But through Joseph's journey, he had become intimately acquainted with God. He assured the brothers that it was God
who sent him ahead "to preserve for you a remnant on the earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance."
.
How about you? What are you learning about God and yourself on the journey? Are you thinking great thoughts of God? Is your energy to follow hard
after Him increasing? Are you becoming bolder in telling others about Him? Are you finding contentment in Him alone? Packer's words describe Joseph.
Do they describe you?
.
Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, the journey You've placed us on will take some serious twists and turns. Help us to see You at work in every
circumstance. Remind us that You never waste our time. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I Pray, Amen."
.
God Bless you.

Content in Whatever Circumstances

23:53 Suchita
Content in Whatever Circumstances

.Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am,
to be content: - (Philippians 4:11) (NKJV).

The wrist watch of a man was constantly whining, "Hmm. Only this man looks at me. I am useful only to this man. But look at that wall clock! A lot of
people look at it. I wish I were like that!" The man could not bear it anymore and one day he said, "So you want to be like that wall clock!" and hung
it on the wall. But, alas nobody can look at it. It has gone to the height it wanted but could not be useful to anybody. It became useless.
.
Our Lord Jesus Christ has placed each one of us in the best place and position according to His eternal will. But we fail to look at our good status
and look at others and long for things they have. We want to live like others not satisfied with what we have.
.
But whatever God has given us - the husband, job and belongings - are the best for us. Let us not forget that. Let us not compare what we have with
others and get depressed. Let us be content with the position in the work and the house the Lord has given. Let us not crave for what we do not have
but give thanks for what we have. May the Lord bless us.
.
Be happy
Be happy always
In ups and downs
The Almighty God is with us!
.
Prayer: Our loving good Lord, we praise you. Grant us grace to enjoy whatever we have. Help us to be content with what we have. Help us not to yearn
for what others have, but be happy for them. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I Pray, Amen."

God Bless you.

You Have A Purpose

23:51 Suchita
You Have A Purpose

2 TIMOTHY 1:9 NKJ
9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not
according to our works, but according to His own purpose and
grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,

You have a purpose in life, a job to do, a mission to fulfill.

You are here for a reason.

What is it?

Ask God. He knows.

EPHESIANS 1:11 NIV
11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined
according to the plan of him who works out everything in
conformity with the purpose of his will,

Of course, I can only answer that question in general terms.

If you are a parent, raising your child is important. Helping a
friend is important. You never know how your actions may affect
the world -- even through helping just one person.

Don't just wait around for some "big purpose" -- for with God
all the details are important -- even the "small" ones.

If you don't know your purpose, just do whatever you can to
help the people around you. Through that, and walking with God,
you will accomplish your purpose.

SAY THIS: I was born for a purpose. God has a plan for me.

Your Every Hair Is Numbered

23:51 Suchita
Your Every Hair Is Numbered

LUKE 12:7 ICB
7 Yes, God even knows how many hairs you have on your head.
Don't be afraid. You are worth much more than many sparrows.

Jesus gave us some insight on how much God is interested in us
as humans. God provides for sparrows, and you are MUCH more
valuable to God than any sparrow. Valuable enough to monitor
every detail about you -- even your current hair-count.

However God obtains your current hair-count -- He does know it.
"Why would God waste His time with such useless information?"
you may wonder. The point, which so many miss, is simply that
God is interested in every detail of your life. Everything.

Nothing concerning you is too small to bother God. You are the
"apple of His eye" just as any young child is the delight of a
good parent.

So don't try to hide from God. Don't shut Him out of your life.
Involve Him in every detail of your day. Talk things over with
Him. Ask His advice. Tell Him what you think, and ask for His
opinion.

And do not fear. The God Who loves you enough to monitor your
current hair count will never forsake you or fail you. When
you are face-to-face with Him you will see that fully and
clearly. So walk in faith today. Trust God. He loves you.

Also, be thankful for whatever hair you do or do not have! God
made you unique. If He wanted you different -- He would have
made you different!

SAY THIS: Thank You Lord for loving me and being concerned with
every detail of my life. Because You love me, I will trust You
and look to You for help.

Characteristics of God

23:50 Suchita
Characteristics of God

This is what the LORD says: "For three sins of Edom, even for four, I will not
relent. Because he pursued his brother with a sword and slaughtered the women of the land, because his anger raged continually and his fury flamed
unchecked…. -Amos 1:11.

We love to hear about God's love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness. Certainly,
these are deep truths that form the bedrock of God's character. But there are other characteristics of God that are just as important…even though we
may not enjoy thinking about them as much as the ones I've mentioned.
.
The prophet Amos was an adamant proclaimer of God's justice and righteousness. Amos did not back down on his declaration that God was going to judge
unfaithful and disobedient people. Amos would have given a hearty "Amen" to Paul's warning, "Do not be deceived. God cannot be mocked. A man reaps
what he sows" (Galatians 6:7).
.
We don't like to hear that, do we? We like to focus on forgiveness. But what we cannot forget is that even forgiven sins still carry consequences. For
example, God can forgive the murderer, but the murderer still must go to prison for his deed. God can forgive the adulterer, but his spouse will carry
the pain to the grave. We need to listen to Amos' warning. Remember it is better to be obedient on the front end, than deal with the consequence of
sin—even forgiven sin—on the back end.
.
Prayer: Our Loving Father in Heaven, may we never presume on Your grace. Remind us that sin carries serious consequences. By Your grace, keep us from
sin. Just as by Your grace, You forgive us when we sin. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I Pray, Amen."

God Bless you.

Beware Of Pride

23:48 Suchita
Beware Of Pride

PROVERBS 16:18 NIV
18 Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a
fall.

Pride is deadly. But instead of warning us the world encourages
pride in every way.

What is pride?

Pride is faith in yourself, instead of faith in God.

The root of pride is selfishness: putting yourself first.
Thinking you are the most important. Thinking you know the
most. Thinking you deserve better than someone else.

Pride will cause you to go your own way instead of God's way.
Pride makes you think you do not need God's advice or help.

Pride is the root of all sin. It causes you to turn away from
God instead of turning to Him. All disobedience has pride as
its root. All rebellion has pride behind it. All mistreatment
of other people is caused by pride: putting yourself and your
feelings above the other person and their feelings.

The world system promotes people who are proud, and often gives
them great riches. Jesus said pride is evil and defiles a
person. (Mark 7:21-23)

While the world may promote the proud for a short time, their
fame and success will not last.

JAMES 4:6 NKJ
6 . . . "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."

Pride is the most serious, and the most subtle, sin. It often
goes unrecognized.

Beware!

SAY THIS: Lord, help me to beware of pride.

Rejoice In The Lord Always

23:47 Suchita
Rejoice In The Lord Always

PHILIPPIANS 4:4 NIV
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

No matter how bad things are around you, you can always rejoice
in the Lord.

God is good -- even when circumstances are bad.

You can look beyond the temporary problems of life and focus on
the Eternal God and His goodness. You can rejoice that God
loves you and that you have a home in Heaven.

If you only rejoice when you feel like it -- and circumstances
warrant it -- you may never rejoice much. But you will miss a
lot of joy. For when you rejoice in the Lord and focus on Him,
joy begins to flow out of your inner being and strengthens you.

This is God's answer for depression. Focus on God. Rejoice in
Him, and receive the spiritual strength you need to carry on in
victory.

HABAKKUK 3:18 NIV
18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my
Savior.

"Yet I WILL." Whenever you decide to, you can rejoice. In spite
of feelings and circumstances, you can choose to rejoice.

Rejoicing is subject to your will -- not your circumstances.

When can you rejoice? When should you rejoice?

1 THESSALONIANS 5:16 NASB
16 Rejoice always;

SAY THIS: I will rejoice -- in the Lord!

How Easy It IS !

23:46 Suchita
How easy it is!

"God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners". - Romans 5:8.

It's easy to spend a hundred bucks while shopping- But
It's difficult to offer the same hundred bucks at Church.
.
It's easy to sit around watching cricket for hours on end- But
It's difficult to in prayer for even an hour.
.
It's easy to chat with friends for hours and hours – But
It's difficult to talk even a few words with our beloved Father.
.
It's easy to praise a cricketer for hitting a six, in full enthusiasm- But
It's difficult to listen to a slightly long sermon with patience.
.
It's easy to read a novel at a stretch with full concentration- But
It's difficult to read one chapter in the Bible with full devotion
.
It's easy to book a seat in the front row of a game- But
It's difficult to come early and catch the first seats at Church.
.
It's easy to believe the happenings in News papers- But
It's difficult to believe the promises in the Bible.
.
It's easy to desire Heaven without following Christ – But
It's difficult to accept that without Christ, there is no Paradise.
.
It's easy for a man to get saved by following the plan of Lord- But
It's difficult for him to accept that plan who is Christ.
.
It's easy to get free Salvation from the Lord- But
It's difficult for the ignorant who try everything else to get saved.
.
It's easy to hope for a loving and nurturing environment for our kids- But
It's difficult for us parents to lead our lives as examples.
.
It's easy for us to expect dignity and respect from others- But
It's difficult to show others the same respect.
.
It's easy to hide our mistakes and imperfections – But
It's difficult to forgive and forget others small mistakes.
.
Most of the above would be very easy for us. But the things related with God are always difficult for us. When we love our Father deeply from our
heart, then everything is as easy as it was really. The problem in today's Christian community is that, we don't love the Lord wholeheartedly. It
always seems perfunctory. We are pious, but are not in spirit. Beyond doubt, we are God-fearing before others, in reality, however, it's just a
masquerade.
God loved this world so much, that He gave his life for us. How many of us are ready to offer our lives for a dear friend in the bondage of sin and
death? But, our Father loved us so much even as sinners and He also displayed His love to us by accepting our sinful hearts. This is the truth that
has prevailed for generations.
.
Our Lord always desires our love. When Peter went fishing after he ran away from the Lord, Jesus asked him, "Do you love me?," not once, not twice,
but three times. Our Lord waited for the words "Yes Lord, I do love you" from Peter's mouth. From Adam's day, the Lord has always desired to have a
loving relationship with mankind. He expects us to speak with Him daily, as He spoke with Abraham and Moses. We know that God was good friends with
Abraham, and Moses talked to Him face to face. Similarly, our ABBA wants us to talk to Him. He created and saved us for this purpose alone. "We love
because HE first loved us." 1 John 4:19
.
Let us love our Father deeply from heart, thanking Him for all the grace that He has bestowed upon us. Let us do the work for Lord; whatever it maybe,
with patience. God will surely and bless us abundantly.
.
We love you Jesus
For so many reasons
For death and life and freedom
Even now we love you
.
Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, We love you all through our life. We praise you for loving us even when we never showed You our love. Help us to
love you whole-heartedly, with all our hearts, souls, minds and strengths. Lord, You deserve all our praise and all of our love, we ask You to help us
to love You with all that we are. We thank and praise You Lord, for listening to our calls and answering our prayers. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
.
God Bless you.

Accept Jesus As Your Righteousness

23:43 Suchita
Accept Jesus As Your Righteousness

ROMANS 10:3 NLT
3 For they don't understand God's way of making people right
with himself. Refusing to accept God's way, they cling to their
own way of getting right with God by trying to keep the law.

It seems that humans are naturally intent on trying to prove to
God that we are worthy of His acceptance and favor.

All human religions are based on what we must do to please God.
But true Christianity is based entirely on what God did for us
through Christ Jesus. That is why it is called the Gospel
(which means Good News).

PHILIPPIANS 3:9 NLT
9 and become one with him. I no longer count on my own
righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become
righteous through faith in Christ. For God's way of making us
right with himself depends on faith.

God's way for people to be right with Him is based on the work
of Jesus Christ. It is not something any human being can ever
deserve or earn. It is purely a gift from God.

GALATIANS 2:16 NLT
16 Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in
Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in
Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because
of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For
no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law."

You can't have good standing with God by trying to be a good
person and living a perfect life. The only way to have good
standing with God is by being in Christ Jesus.

ROMANS 3:22 NLT
22 We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus
Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter
who we are.

So don't try to establish your own righteousness. Accept Jesus
as your righteousness!

GALATIANS 5:4 NLT
4 For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by
keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have
fallen away from God's grace.

God made Jesus to be your righteousness. Accept that fact!

1 CORINTHIANS 1:30 NIV
30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has
become for us wisdom from God -- that is, our righteousness,
holiness and redemption.

To now say that your righteousness is not good enough, would be
saying that Jesus is not good enough. Because Jesus is your
righteousness!

ROMANS 5:1 NLT
1 Therefore, since we have been made right in God's sight by
faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our
Lord has done for us.

Being right with God (righteous) not only gives us peace with
God, but also enables us to live in victory.

ROMANS 5:17 NLT
17 For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over
many. But even greater is God's wonderful grace and his gift of
righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over
sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.

Righteousness is a gift! But for you to benefit as you should,
you must actively receive it. You must take it! (That is the
meaning of the word "receive" in Romans 5:17.)

SAY THIS: I accept Jesus as my righteousness. Because of Jesus,
I am in right standing with God right now. I am righteous in
Christ!

You Are In The Army Of Love

23:43 Suchita
You Are In The Army Of Love

1 JOHN 4:8 CEB
8 The person who doesn't love does not know God, because God is
love.

True believers in Jesus Christ are children of Love and
citizens of the kingdom of Love. The God of Love is our Father,
and He gave us His message of Love to share with all humanity
(2 Corinthians 5:19-20). It is Good News!

As God's children, He has placed His love in our hearts (Romans
5:5).

JOHN 13:35 CEB
35 This is how everyone will know that you are my disciples,
when you love each other."

Today every follower of Jesus Christ is called to manifest
God's love, just as Jesus did during His time on earth.

1 JOHN 2:6 NLT
6 Those who say they live in God should live their lives as
Jesus did.

Jesus already defeated the devil. But the Church, which is the
Body of Christ, is still in a battle for the hearts and minds
of people.

2 CORINTHIANS 10:4-5 CEB
4 Our weapons that we fight with aren't human, but instead they
are powered by God for the destruction of fortresses. They
destroy arguments,
5 and every defense that is raised up to oppose the knowledge
of God. They capture every thought to make it obedient to
Christ.

This does not mean we can win people by arguments. Only when
people see reality in our lives will their arguments be
silenced.

There is only one way to win the hearts of people -- by Love.
If we don't show them Love, they won't know Love exists.

We are now earthly representatives of Love, called to join the
battle. We must always remember we are on Love's side -- not
against people -- only against what harms people.

EPHESIANS 6:12 CEB
12 We aren't fighting against human enemies but against rulers,
authorities, forces of cosmic darkness, and spiritual powers of
evil in the heavens.

People are not our enemy, but the devil tries to influence and
work through people. So they may mistreat us. But our response
to them should always be Love. We should always be patient and
return kindness, regardless how people may have mistreated us.

1 PETER 3:9 NLT
9 Don't repay evil for evil. Don't retaliate with insults when
people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That
is what God has called you to do, and he will bless you for it.

SAY THIS: I am in the army of God -- who is Love.

God's Demonstration

23:39 Suchita
God's Demonstration

ROMANS 5:8 NKJ
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we
were still sinners, Christ died for us.

There is no reason to say, "If God loves me, let Him prove it!"
He already has.

God gave a demonstration proving He loves you at Calvary --
where Jesus died a cruel death on a cross. He died, in your
place, suffering punishment you deserved, to set you free.

By dying for you, God proved He loved you supremely. How could
He love you more?

Jesus showed that He loves you more than He loves Himself.

JOHN 15:13 NKJ
13 "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's
life for his friends.

Jesus gave His life for you. What more could He do?

1 JOHN 3:16a NKJ
16 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us.

Many people have a distorted view of God. The true picture of
God's nature is that He loves all the people of the world so
much, He was willing to suffer for their freedom.

SAY THIS: God loves me -- and He proved it!

The Holy Spirit Will Teach You

23:38 Suchita
The Holy Spirit Will Teach You

JOHN 14:26 NASB
26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send
in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your
remembrance all that I said to you.

What a wonderful, patient teacher the Holy Spirit is!

This teacher has no limits. He never has to call on anyone else
for an answer. He knows everything.

Whatever you are doing, He can help you -- and teach you how to
do it better. Just ask.

Jesus said it, "He will teach you all things."

I love the story of George Washington Carver, who asked God to
teach him about the peanut -- then changed our world with the
knowledge he gained of the peanut.

Do not hesitate to ask God to teach you about even the smallest
things. He understands every detail and is never too busy for
you.

From child raising to atomic science -- He is the most
knowledgable and capable teacher.

And the Holy Spirit is always available! No need to wait for
office hours to call on this professor. Call on Him anytime.

SAY THIS: The Holy Spirit is teaching me.

Why Are There Delays?

23:37 Suchita
Why Are There Delays?

JAMES 1:2-4 NIV
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials
of many kinds,
3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops
perseverance.
4 Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature
and complete, not lacking anything.

Why are prayers not all answered instantly? Why don't we always
experience the blessings promised in the Bible immediately?

If all results were instant, we could never walk in faith.
Without faith, we could never please God. (Hebrews 11:6)

If you always reaped the harvest of your deeds immediately, the
incentive to do right and refrain from wrongdoing would only be
selfish. No faith, or love for God, would be required.

During delays we have opportunity to demonstrate whether we
really love God, and trust Him, or not.

A delay is a test. Without testing, there could be no reward.
God does not test us so that we can fail, but so that we can
overcome. He believes we will make it with His help.

We desire an instant manifestation of victory. God's desire is
for us to press into Him and His Word and walk in faith until
we see victory.

To overcome there must be opposition and struggle. God cannot
always shield us from problems without taking away from us the
privilege of overcoming.

Victory is sweet. What makes it sweet is that it is not easy.

If we really trust God, time is not a problem. Leave that with
God. His timing is perfect and He is dependable! We know He
promised, and can never fail -- and that is enough.

SAY THIS: I will persevere in faith, and the Bible says I will
end up not lacking anything.

The Bible Gives You Instructions For Victory

23:36 Suchita
The Bible Gives You Instructions For Victory

JOSHUA 1:8 NLT
8 Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it
day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in
it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.

God has the answer for every problem. God's Word is God's
wisdom (Luke 11:49).

The Bible is God's message, given to you from His heart of
love, so you can know the truth, and have a sure foundation on
which to base your life.

The Bible was not given to put you down, but to raise you up.
Not to put you in bondage, but to make you free! (John 8:31-32)

God's Word gives you dependable truth you can use to form your
beliefs, so that your beliefs will line up with the reality of
how God's creation works. God alone knows all truth, and in the
Bible He shared what you need to know to live a blessed life.

Follow God's instructions and things will go well with you. The
answer for success in life is to do what the Bible says to do,
because it is truth.

SAY THIS: The Bible is my instruction book for victory.

Grains Of Wheat

23:35 Suchita
Grains of Wheat

1 Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. 2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep
darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.oved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and
everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. - (Isaiah 60:1,2) (NKJV).

The moment we hear the name Hudson Taylor, we remember the founder of the Chinese Internal Evangelical Missionary Society. He was born and brought up
in England. When he was 22 he was sent to China by an organization "Gospel to China Missionary Society". He led thousands of souls to salvation
through lots of tribulations and troubles. Towards the end of his life he challenged the youth like this.: "God gives oil and fire free of cost. Who
is willing to burn as a wick?" As a result hundreds of youngsters went as missionaries to China.
.
Let us consider another true story also. Nobody who went to work among the savages in Ecuador had returned alive. Knowing this well, a 28-year-old
young man named Jim Elliot went along with four others to Ecuador on September, 1955 leaving behind his wife in the city. They were dropping gifts to
those people from plane for three months. When they figured that the people were friendly, they landed their plane in a forest. They talked with their
families on January, 1956. They said with great enthusiasm, "We will definitely bring this people to the Lord!" And they promised to call them around
4 o'clock in the evening. But alas, the people they thought friends killed them with their spears. Except Ed McCully whose body was drawn by the
river, the others Nate Saint, Jim Elliot, Peter Fleming, and Roger Youderian were buried there.
.
Their blood became the seed to establish a Church there. Jesus said in John 12:24, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into
the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain."
According to these, the young men sacrificed their lives and now churches are filled in that country. Ecuador is now a Christian nation. Jim Elliot
has said, "Anyone who hesitates to sacrifice for the Lord is not fit to do great things for the Lord!"
.
Dearly beloved, the harvest is plenty and laborers are few. A lot of souls
desire to see light. There is no one to take the light of salvation to them. If
we who love the Lord don't come forward, who will? Will you commit yourselves to burn like John the Baptist and Hudson Taylor? Will we come forward to
serve the Lord in some way?
.
None who lost for Christ
Became poor
Those who gave for His Kingdom
Never suffered loss.
.
Prayer: Our Heavenly Father, our fortress and protector, we praise You. Grant us grace to rise and shine for Your name. So many before us gave their
lives as grains for You We thank You for each one of them. We remember our brothers and sisters who are suffereing because of the gospel work. Protect
them who are doing what we are not. Strengthen them to do Your work even more vigorously. Raise those who pray for them and support them. Thank you
for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I Pray, Amen."

God Bless you.

We Receive From God By Faith

23:33 Suchita
We Receive From God By Faith

MATTHEW 9:29 NKJ
29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith
let it be to you."

Have you ever wondered why God blessed someone -- when it was
obvious they did not deserve it?

Do you wonder why you are not more blessed -- even though you
are doing your best to be a good Christian?

The answer is faith.

We do not receive from God based on what we deserve, but on
what we believe.

GALATIANS 3:9 ICB
9 Abraham believed this, and because he believed, he was
blessed. It is the same today. All who believe today are
blessed just as Abraham was blessed.

Our receiving from God is not based on our works, but on God's
grace. We have access to God's grace by our faith -- not
through our merit.

ROMANS 5:2 NKJ
2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in
which we stand . . . .

Many try to earn something from God when He has already given
us all things through Christ. Now by faith we must appropriate
what God has provided.

Don't despair if your faith is not too strong. The cure for
weak faith is to feed on the Word of God, the Bible.

ROMANS 10:17 NKJ
17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of
God.

If you feed your heart and mind the Word of God, your faith
will grow strong. You feed it in by reading it, hearing it,
speaking it, and meditating on it.

SAY THIS: I will feed on God's Word and my faith will grow.
Then I will receive all God has for me.

Tell Satan Where To Go

23:32 Suchita
Tell Satan Where To Go

MATTHEW 4:10 NLT
10 "Get out of here, Satan," Jesus told him. "For the
Scriptures say, 'You must worship the Lord your God; serve only
him.' "

Jesus spoke directly to the devil -- and so must you.

Many Christians think they should pray about the devil and ask
God to deliver them from his attacks. But the Bible is clear --
God has given the authority to believers to resist the devil.

You must control the devil, or he will control you!

Unless you exercise the authority delegated to you by Jesus
Christ, the devil will wreak havoc in your life, and everywhere
he is allowed to.

LUKE 10:19 NKJ
19 "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and
scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing
shall by any means hurt you.

Praying to God to stop the devil's operations is no different
than my son asking me to take out the trash, after I have told
him to do it.

God told us to resist the devil and he would flee. We must
believe and act on God's Word.

EPHESIANS 4:27 NKJ
27 nor give place to the devil.

Would God tell us not to let the devil have any place, if we
had no say about it? If the devil does have a place in our
affairs, it's because we allowed it.

JAMES 4:7 NKJ
7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee
from you.

We must first submit to God, because we are not greater in
power than the devil. But submitted to God in Christ Jesus, the
devil must back off when we resist him and his works.

SAY THIS: In the Name of Jesus, I command you devil to leave
me, my family, and my property alone! Be gone!

Do You Believe In Love?

23:31 Suchita
Do You Believe In Love?

MATTHEW 5:44 NKJ
44 "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse
you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who
spitefully use you and persecute you,

Most people believe in force: guns and armies.

Most people believe in money: "financial power."

Many people believe in education, that "If we just educate
people enough we can change the world."

Hardly anyone seems to believe in the power of love to change
things. No one seems to think it would do any good to "turn the
other cheek."

Jesus didn't tell us to "turn the other cheek" just so we could
get beat up more. Jesus believes in the power of love. Jesus
believes that evil can be overcome with good.

ROMANS 12:20-21 NKJ
20 Therefore "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is
thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals
of fire on his head."
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

God still believes in the power of love. He believes that if
you love enough, and for long enough, people will finally come
to their senses and respond to that love.

JOHN 13:34-35 NIV
34 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved
you, so you must love one another.
35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you
love one another."

Jesus said the mark of His believers would be their love. Where
did we go wrong?

SAY THIS: Lord, help me to believe in love, and to act in love.

Believe What You Say Will Come To Pass

23:29 Suchita
Believe What You Say Will Come To Pass

MARK 11:23 ESV
23 Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be
taken up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his
heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it
will be done for him.

Most people have no problem believing what God says will come
to pass. But not many believe that their own words will come to
pass.

You may think it unbelievable to even consider that what you
say would come to pass. But Jesus told us that's part of how
faith works.

"How can it be possible?" you may ask.

For most of us, it will mean we will have to stop much of what
we have been saying. Idle words will have to stop.

But it is possible! If you restrict your words so that nothing
you say is contrary to God's Word, then you can believe that
what you say will come to pass. Because you will only be
speaking in complete agreement with what God has already said.

This won't happen overnight, and it is not easy to completely
control your tongue, but it is possible with God.

JAMES 1:26 NLT
26 If you claim to be religious but don't control your tongue,
you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless.

JAMES 3:8 NLT
8 but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full
of deadly poison.

We need help to control our tongue. So we must not depend on
our own self-will or efforts to change, but look to God for His
help.

SAY THIS: Lord, please help me to always speak in agreement
with Your Word, so I can believe what I say will come to pass

Surrounded By Favor

23:28 Suchita
Surrounded By Favor

PSALM 5:12 NIV
12 For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround
them with your favor as with a shield.

God's favor can change your life.

Someone who is favored is called a favor-ite.

(The New Testament teaches that being righteous (in right
standing with God), is a gift we receive when we receive Jesus
-- not something we attain by our works.)

So, the promise of Scripture is that God surrounds you with
favor. What does that mean?

Favor is the blessing of God making people like you and treat
you well.

Is it automatic? We have access to God's grace only through
faith (Romans 5:2). So, you will never experience the fullness
of God's favor without believing for it.

Faith is released through words. So every day thank the Lord
for giving you favor with people, for surrounding you with
favor!

Don't say, "People don't like me." or "Everybody seems to be
against me." or "I never get a break."

Instead say, "Thank you Lord for giving me favor with people."

Then watch God begin to move on your behalf!

SAY THIS: Thank you Lord for surrounding me with favor.

Dedicate Yourself To God

23:26 Suchita
Dedicate Yourself To God

"They do not know the thoughts of the LORD, and they do not understand His purpose." – Micah 4:12 NASB.

God's people were surrounded. There seemed to be little hope. Micah described how many nations would be "assembled against" them (v. 11), eager to
accomplish their purposes. These nations would act with confidence—certain that they would be successful, sure that God's people were vulnerable.
.
But these nations did "not know the thoughts of the LORD." They didn't
"understand his plan" (NIV). In fact, they didn't realize how little they really
knew. Their conclusions might have seemed logical. They might have thought that they had superior weapons and resources, that their plans were
foolproof, that their victory would be inevitable.
.
But they had neglected to consider God. He hadn't factored into their worldview or their plans.
.
How easily anyone can be like those ancient nations: The armies and generals who seek to dominate with their weapons, politicians who fight for
control, mighty corporations accumulating their assets, terrorists who seek to spread fear with their threats, proud celebrities who seek to shape the
thoughts of society to conform to their biases.
.
Even Believers can forget God and approach life as if He were not present—as if they were forced to make decisions on their own, fight their own
battles, and struggle through life. But everything changes when we start with God—when He is not an afterthought, but the center of our lives.
.
Today, dedicate yourself to serving God. Fill your mind and heart with His Word, and make it a priority to develop a more intimate relationship with
Him. Ask Him to give you His wisdom and His perspective on the world. Let Him give you His peace so you can move forward with boldness and confidence,
freed from fear and worry. Believe Him for victory in every area of your life!
.
Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, grant me more of Your wisdom. I seek Your Kingdom. Thank You that I can trust my life to You. Thank you for
hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I Pray, Amen."

God Bless you.

All The Promises of God

23:25 Suchita
All The Promises Of God

2 CORINTHIANS 1:20 NCV
20 The yes to all of God's promises is in Christ, and through
Christ we say yes to the glory of God.

Although the entire Bible is a message to us today, not all of
it is written directly to us.

The New Testament epistles are written directly to us who are
in the church, the Body of Christ, which includes all
believers.

We do need to rightly divide the Bible, but since all the
promises of God are yes in Christ -- they find their
fulfillment in Him -- we can take any promise of blessing in
the entire Bible and appropriate it by faith.

God has blessed us with every blessing in Christ!

EPHESIANS 1:3 NKJ
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who
has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly
places in Christ,

Every promise in the Bible is not directed to us specifically.
But, by faith in Jesus Christ, we can appropriate every
blessing God has to offer.

When we do receive the promised blessings of God's Word, it
brings glory to God.

All this is not automatic. You have to actively receive. But
the main "activity" involved with receiving blessing from God
is believing. To truly believe you need evidence. That's why
you need to read and study the Bible.

SAY THIS: Every Bible promise of blessing is mine in Christ.

Accept God's Acceptance

23:24 Suchita
Accept God's Acceptance

God accepts you, because of what Jesus did as your substitute,
and because He loves you.

EPHESIANS 1:6 NKJ
6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made
us accepted in the Beloved.

All barriers between you and God were broken down by Jesus
Christ. God forgave you, and offers cleansing from all the sin
you ever committed.

2 CORINTHIANS 5:18-21 NLT
18 All this newness of life is from God, who brought us back to
himself through what Christ did. And God has given us the task
of reconciling people to him.
19 For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no
longer counting people's sins against them. This is the
wonderful message he has given us to tell others.
20 We are Christ's ambassadors, and God is using us to speak to
you. We urge you, as though Christ himself were here pleading
with you, "Be reconciled to God!"
21 For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering
for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through
Christ.

God's intention is to have a family -- a loving family. He
wants you to be a part of it.

ROMANS 15:7 NCV
7 Christ accepted you, so you should accept each other, which
will bring glory to God.

SAY THIS: I accept that God has forgiven me and accepted me
into His family.

According To Your Faith

23:23 Suchita
According To Your Faith

MATTHEW 9:29 NKJ
29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith
let it be to you."

God responds to faith.

God blesses people who have faith.

Don't you appreciate people who have faith in you? Well, God
appreciates people who have faith in Him.

But His reason is not just selfish -- as ours may be. God knows
His ways are right and bring blessing, while protecting people
from harm. So, when we have faith in God, we will follow His
instructions, and the world will be a better place.

When everyone has faith in God, and follows His way of love,
the world will be a perfect place.

Many people don't understand God because they think He should
respond to need, instead of responding to faith.

God doesn't do that because it doesn't work. Meeting human need
without them having faith in God brings no lasting benefit.

MATTHEW 8:13 NKJ
13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go your way; and as you
have believed, so let it be done for you." And his servant was
healed that same hour.

SAY THIS: God responds to my faith.

The Cross Symbolizes The Victory

23:21 Suchita
The Cross Symbolizes The Victory

"Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not in cleverness of speech, so that the cross of Christ would not be made void. For the
word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." – 1 Corinthians 1:17-18 NASB.

The Cross became a subject of intense study for George Bennard. Born in 1873, in his midlife, he went through a trying experience which caused him to
reflect on the significance of the Cross. After many hours in study and prayer, he concluded that the Cross was the heart of the Gospel.
.
While conducting revival services, Bennard was inspired to write a hymn with words that "were put into my heart in answer to my own need." The hymn
was "The Old Rugged Cross," and soon after its introduction in 1913, it was being sung throughout America.
.
This hymn tells of the power of the Cross in a clear, powerful way: "On a hill
far away stood an old rugged cross, the emblem of suffering and shame…I'll
cherish the old rugged cross, till my trophies at last I lay down; I will cling
to the old rugged cross, and exchange it some day for a crown."
.
Paul told us that, to those who are not saved, "the word of the cross is
foolishness." But, if we are saved, "it is the power of God."
.
How easy it is to fill our lives with pride and self, overlooking what Jesus has
done for us. But the Cross reminds us of the price Jesus paid. As Bennard wrote, "The dear Lamb of God left His glory above to bear it to dark
Calvary."
.
Today, let God know how grateful you are that Jesus died for you. Remember that the Cross symbolizes the victory Jesus won. It is the power of God in
your life.
.
Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Jesus to die for my sins. I will cling to the old rugged Cross and exchange it some day for
a crown. I am eternally grateful to You. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I Pray, Amen."
.
God Bless you.
